About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team at Infinity Systems. As a key member of our Digitalization team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative software solutions for connected systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Linux-based connectivity and application software architectures from concept to production and operation.
  • Develop embedded IoT application and connectivity software components, ensuring seamless integration with modern Open Source components and the latest software technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external developers, testers, and product owners to support system integration and testing in an agile environment.
  • Define and implement APIs for various connectivity use cases, ensuring high-level security requirements are met.
  • Design, implement, and enforce high-class security concepts in connected systems and telematic products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Communications / Electronic Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • End-to-end understanding of complex IoT systems, including device and backend interfaces.
  • Strong experience in Rust and/or C/C++ programming languages.
  • Expert knowledge in building embedded Linux systems, including Yocto and U-Boot.
  • Practical knowledge in continuous delivery and agile methods.
  • Experience with connected devices, including various IoT communication protocols and technologies (Bluetooth, Wifi, CAN, Ethernet, 4G, 5G, etc.) is a plus.
