Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading provider of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry. As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Immediately report all safety hazards and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, collect money (cash or checks) where required, and ensure that all equipment and materials are removed from trailers as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A License
  • 6+ months of experience driving tractor trailers required
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
