As a Room Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for evaluating hotel accommodations to guarantee that all amenities and supplies are adequately provided, and that the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms align with our esteemed standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, schedule, mentor, and assist team members, ensuring adherence to established hotel standards and HHM core values.
  • Manage inventory levels to confirm sufficient supply availability.
  • Distribute supplies and equipment to team members as needed.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to verify compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Participate in or support cleaning tasks as required.
  • Engage with staff to address performance and personnel issues, and to clarify company policies.
  • Facilitate training for Room Attendants in collaboration with external training providers, if necessary.
  • Evaluate job candidates and participate in the hiring process.
  • Oversee laundry staff, if applicable.
  • Coordinate employee work schedules.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices in line with HHM's EarthView initiative.
  • Maintain safe working practices, utilize protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Ensure safe working conditions to promote employee well-being.
  • Cross-train in the breakfast area to assist with guest inquiries and cleaning duties as required.
  • Strive to achieve overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma is preferred.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is essential.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Work hours may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
  • Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, and bending.
