Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct integrity reliability reviews, medical chart reviews, and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
  • Employ evidence-based practice and integrate best research with expertise and patient values for optimal care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to apply performance improvement methodologies and minimize waste, decrease errors, and increase efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with staff regarding core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, and implementation of new services and systems.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License required.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Five years clinical experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting, including a minimum of two years of inpatient Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance experience preferred.
  • Experience in reviewing charts for quality care issues.
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases, directions, and follow-through.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Certified professional in healthcare quality preferred.
  • EMR experience and computer skills required.
