Ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service skills and the ability to excel in a collaborative team atmosphere. All applicants must hold local state low voltage certifications and be prepared to achieve NICET levels 1 and 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, servicing, testing, and inspection of Fire Alarms, Intrusion Alarms, CCTV/IP-Video, and Access Control systems across various locations. We welcome both seasoned technicians and those looking to elevate their careers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Over 8 years of experience in the Electronic Security field
- Extensive knowledge in one of the four Electronic Security categories: Fire Alarms, Burglar Alarms, CCTV, or Access Control
- Current OEM certifications and the ability to obtain specific certifications as required by the company
- Must have or be able to achieve NICET-1 within three months of hire, and NICET-2 within six months
- Strong background in commercial cabling and construction practices
- Capability to lead a team of technicians on projects of varying sizes
- Familiarity with equipment such as DMP, Ademco, Bosch, Honeywell, Fire Lite, Silent Knight, CCTV, and Card Access
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interpret and execute written instructions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with a willingness to learn new skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work safely on construction sites using ladders and lifts
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Finger dexterity for the use of necessary tools
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
