Cennox is seeking a skilled Electronic Security Installation Technician to join our team in Miami, FL.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced security professional to work in a dynamic environment that allows for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the Electronic Security industry, with in-depth knowledge of one of the four ES categories: Fire Alarms, Burglar Alarms, CCTV, or Access Control.
The successful candidate will also have current OEM certifications, the ability to acquire specific certifications provided by the company, and NICET-1 and NICET-2 certifications within 3 and 6 months of employment, respectively.
Additionally, the candidate will have excellent experience with commercial cabling and construction practices, as well as the ability to lead a crew of technicians on small to large projects.
The successful candidate will also have a valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, service, test, and inspect Fire Alarms, Intrusion Alarms, CCTV/IP-Video, and Access Control systems throughout South Florida.
- Lead a crew of technicians on small to large projects.
- Develop and maintain local state low voltage certifications.
- Be cross-trained to support other lines of business, including banking and retail.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Electronic Security industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of one of the four ES categories: Fire Alarms, Burglar Alarms, CCTV, or Access Control.
- Current OEM certifications and ability to acquire specific certifications provided by the company.
