Dishwasher/Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dishwasher/Cook to join our team at Brick City Vegan, a locally-owned fast-casual restaurant specializing in plant-based cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and sanitation, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our Utility Team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Set up and maintain a safe and clean dish station area
• Properly clean and sanitize all dishware and equipment
• Perform opening and closing duties in the dining room, restroom, and dish area
• Maintain a clean dining room throughout the shift
• Prepare food for service according to recipe and follow special instructions
• Assist on the kitchen line when needed throughout the shift
• Unload and store deliveries, daily or as needed
• Practice safe work habits to avoid injury to self and others

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relative work experience in food preparation and sanitation
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
• Willingness to comply with all food and safety procedures

• $15.00 per hour
