Dishwasher/Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dishwasher/Cook to join our team at Brick City Vegan, a locally-owned fast-casual restaurant specializing in plant-based cuisine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized dish station area, properly cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, and performing various opening and closing duties in the dining room, restroom, and dish area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain a clean and sanitized dish station area
• Properly clean and sanitize all dishware
• Perform opening and closing duties in the dining room, restroom, and dish area
• Maintain a clean dining room throughout the shift
• Prepare food for service according to recipe
• Assist on kitchen line when needed
• Follow all food safety standards
• Sweep and mop floors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relative work experience
• Ability to follow a recipe
• Knowledge of knife safety
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Able to maintain professionalism at all times
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
