Job Summary:
Infojini Healthcare is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients with a variety of medical conditions, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, and insulin.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
- 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department with some pediatric experience.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
- EMR experience with Epic.
- Ability to work 36 guaranteed hours per week with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Charge capability.
- Experience with rapid infusor and arctic sun equipment.
