Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $64,161 - $85,131, depending on experience and qualifications. This competitive compensation package reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the field of nursing.

Job Description
This position involves direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Surgical Care Specialist will coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists while directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel to maintain high standards of professional nursing.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our surgical team, you will contribute to providing seamless care transitions and efficient patient flow within the operating room.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
  • Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
