We are seeking a talented Data Engineer II to join our Reporting and Insights team at Magnite. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining pipelines that process billions of records every hour, working on near real-time applications, and joining datasets from different sources to produce optimized access for multiple customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pipelines that process billions of records every hour
- Work on near real-time applications
- Join datasets from different sources to produce optimized access for multiple customers
- Develop applications that provide deep insight based on the data
- Work with cross-team to maintain large clusters of query engines like Druid
- Optimize query performance for API access
About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer II with a strong background in data pipeline development and data science. You should have a passion for learning new skills and technologies, and a good understanding of functional programming and object-oriented programming techniques.

We use a range of technologies including Spark Jobs developed with Scala, Kubernetes, Yarn, Databricks for job executions, Terraform for deployments, Python for orchestration, and Druid for fast query access.
