The Medication Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living plays a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments to residents according to their Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Document medication administration and resident care
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Provide education and training to residents and families on medication management and related topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:

  • LPN or LVN licensure
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Able to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
