Job Summary

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations of an Athletics department. As a key member of the Salt Lake Community College team, you will be responsible for marketing the department through our Pepsi sponsorship and collaborating with campus groups to promote Athletics. Your duties will include assisting in game management, setting up pre-game needs, and serving as a liaison with Pepsi Promotions.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assist in game management as needed
2. Set up and organize pre-game needs, national anthem singers, promotional contests during game and halftime events
3. Serve as a liaison with Pepsi Promotions and place orders with Pepsi as needed
4. Distribute Pepsi products to team and officials during games
5. Support the internal and external operations of the SLCC Athletics department
6. Attend department meetings as needed
7. Hold regular office hours
8. Play a key role in athletic department presence at campus events
9. Assist in Media Relations as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
1. High school graduate or GED
2. 18 years or older
3. Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays

Preferred Qualifications
1. 1-2 years of experience in athletic or marketing background

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Good communication skills
2. Problem-solving skills
3. Ability to lift 30 lbs
4. Complete college mandatory staff training
5. Work flexible hours
6. Report to work on time
