Job Description:
The Lead Sales Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, well-organized store environment while providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include assisting customers with merchandise, operating cash registers, stocking shelves, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, the Lead Sales Associate acts in a lead capacity, overseeing daily store operations and ensuring seamless customer interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, a basic understanding of safety policies, and the ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides. Additionally, candidates should be able to perform mathematical calculations, operate cash registers, and drive company vehicles when necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with six months of supervisory experience or related training.

Working Conditions:
This role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting of up to 40 pounds. Candidates may also need to climb step ladders, work in fast-paced environments, and occasionally expose themselves to outside weather conditions.
