This position will equip you with the skills to diagnose, repair, and implement modifications in the field, all aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational reliability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the commissioning and warranty processes for locomotives and coaches.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis on rail vehicles.
  • Utilize mechanical schematics and circuit diagrams to perform repairs on various components.
  • Employ diagnostic software on laptops to troubleshoot onboard systems.
  • Identify and rectify electrical issues in control circuits and components, determining necessary corrective actions.
  • Interpret technical documentation to ascertain root causes of failures and prepare reports for management.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards throughout all operations.
  • Implement field modifications to enhance product quality.
  • Document all failures, part replacements, modifications, and work performed in the company database.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding technical information and job procedures.
  • Manage the logistics of sending and receiving parts for repair.
  • Utilize hand tools and shop machinery in daily tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
