NCR Voyix is seeking Service Technicians to join our Field Services Team, dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions that foster long-term customer relationships. As a primary point of contact for our clients, you will engage in a friendly and constructive manner, focusing on identifying the best solutions. You will manage and prioritize customer concerns, addressing some issues proactively. With comprehensive training provided by NCR, you will be equipped to meet customer needs effectively. This role is vital in maintaining commerce worldwide and serves as a representative of the NCR Brand. Utilize your skills to:
  • Conduct customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently.
  • Service electromechanical devices such as self-checkout systems within your designated area.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Local candidate to specific geographic area
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.
  • Basic PC skills, electronic knowledge, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours daily.
  • Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
  • Flexible shift work – rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, with some holidays.
  • Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Physical ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects of varying sizes
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory, but advantageous):
  • Experience with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
  • A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
  • One or more years of relevant experience
