Job Summary

As a Club Service Attendant at Crunch Fitness, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing the servicing, repair, and maintenance operations for all building and equipment related to the club. This includes ensuring that all areas of the club are maintained to corporate standards, performing preventative maintenance measures, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Department Standard Operating Procedures
    • Conduct club inspections to ensure compliance with corporate standards and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide feedback to General Managers to ensure expectations are clear and maintenance deficiencies are addressed.
    • Schedule services and tasks with the General Manager as requested by the Area Maintenance Technician.
    • Partner with the Area Maintenance Technician and New Club Development team to attend new club walk-throughs and ensure all areas of facility maintenance and services are understood and addressed.
    • Review inspection results to identify training opportunities, outliers, or trends requiring follow-up.
  • Assist Club Manager
    • Train new Club Managers on approved Facility Training Programs.
    • Provide and train Club Managers on daily tasks required to ensure proper management of the Club Service Attendant position.
    • Communicate with Club Managers on all facility service programs.
    • Ensure the Open Wrench System is utilized as a management tool.
  • General Management
    • Provide general direction and technical expertise to other janitorial and club team members to ensure all basic facilities department responsibilities are addressed.
    • Schedule Club Service Attendant weekly activities within the allotted time approved by the General Manager to service club equipment and systems.
    • Partner with the Area Maintenance Technician to ensure scheduling is approved and communicated to the General Manager and Regional Director of Operations.
    • Host regular meetings and/or training sessions to relay Facilities Department information and/or provide new or updated training when applicable.
    • Attend weekly conference calls with the Area Maintenance Technician to maintain alignment between corporate updates and expectations and the Club Service Attendant.
  • Training and Development
    • Perform hands-on training for club janitorial partners following corporate-provided chemical and safety training.
    • Coordinate vendor-sponsored training programs.
    • Partner with the Area Maintenance Technician as needed to address specific training opportunities.
    • Partner with the Corporate Facilities Team to ensure all Club Service Attendants maintain required training certifications based on club amenities and local requirements.
  • Oversee Special Projects
    • Schedule vendors to support special projects as needed.
    • Ensure vendors are held accountable to execute projects completely.
    • Execute in-house projects when appropriate.
    • Communicate with the General Manager and Area Maintenance Technician to ensure alignment with planned scopes of work and timing.
  • Open Wrench and Work Order Management
    • Review and manage Work Orders in the Open Wrench System.
    • Support the Area Maintenance Technician by loading, reviewing, and closing work orders.
    • Execute monthly club audits using GO CANVAS.

Requirements

  • Must possess knowledge of janitorial servicing and maintenance.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, and training skills.
  • Must be a problem solver and be able to provide guidance to club team members.
  • Must be organized and able to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and an excellent work ethic.
  • Must be able to use CMMS Open Wrench Application as well as web-based applications and the internet.
  • Must be able to use and service hand tools, power tools, and ladders.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in facilities/janitorial maintenance.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

  • Duties may include physical effort, including the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., bending, squatting, reaching, or being on feet for long periods of time.
  • Duties include exposure to maintenance chemicals, cleaning supplies, and periodic grease/oil from cardiovascular equipment.

Travel Requirement

  • Job may require travel to a nearby club.
