Key Responsibilities...
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Bakery section (for instance, work surfaces, windows, mirrors, display cases, coolers) by adhering to Company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment; stocking and displaying food items appropriately; and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Ensure effective merchandise presentation by restocking items; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged products; signing and pricing items correctly; ensuring design inventory is accessible for member decorating choices; and securing delicate and high-shrink merchandise.
Guarantee consistent quality and precision in decorative designs by preparing Bakery Department products based on daily production requirements; operating Bakery machinery; following recipe measurement guidelines; employing specialized decorating techniques to execute Company-approved designs; working with various products (for example, decorating bags, tips, nozzles) to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery goods (for example, cakes, cupcakes, pies) to complete the decorative design of bakery items; adhering to Members' orders/specifications using suitable designs, colors, and tools; and properly wrapping, labeling, and storing products.
Deliver exceptional Member service by recognizing the Member; understanding their needs; assisting with purchasing choices; utilizing sales techniques to boost department sales; taking bakery orders in person or via phone; locating products; managing production to ensure timely delivery of member orders; keeping the sales area and backroom stocked; and addressing issues and concerns.
Uphold facility safety by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety inspections, adhering to proper forklift spotting protocols, following company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe conditions to management.
Maintain the Sales Floor in the Bakery section in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00.
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
