About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide top-notch care to patients in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Counseling and Therapy Services: Implement counseling and therapy services for assigned patients in individual and group settings, conducting thorough assessments and interviews to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Coordinate Care and Services: Identify and arrange for necessary internal and external services, participating in case reviews and care conferences to evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Discharge Planning and Education: Assist with discharge planning, identifying community-based resources and providing referrals to ensure a smooth transition for patients and families.
  • Training and Education: Participate in training and education programs, sharing expertise and knowledge with new staff, students, and interns to enhance the quality of care and services.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a Related Field: Possess a master's degree in a relevant field, with a strong foundation in behavioral health and mental health care.
  • State Licensure or Certification: Hold state licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other licensure/certification approved by department leadership.
