We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Austin, TX-based Ascension Seton. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and families. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

To be considered for this role, you must have licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Texas Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additionally, one or more of the following certifications are required: Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted; BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support is preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. A diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire is also required.
