Dental Care Specialist

Cornell Scott-Hill Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience.
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict sterilization protocols.
- Provide patients with personalized oral care instructions and education on maintaining good oral health.
- Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts and maintain accurate dental records.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience or completion of a dental assisting program is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in dental software and equipment.
