About the Job

We are seeking an experienced water resources engineer/project manager to lead our diverse portfolio of green infrastructure design projects. With a strong background in civil engineering and project management, you will be responsible for managing your own design tasks, delegating to junior staff, and mentoring others.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary civil and water resources design projects under the direction of senior engineers;
  • Develop technical design documents, including construction document plan sets for waterfront, park, campus, and other site redevelopment projects;
  • Conduct site visits to local projects under construction and respond to contractor submittals and RFIs;
  • Develop nature-based stormwater solutions, grading, drainage, cut/fill analyses, circulation, and utility design;
  • Support hydrologic & hydraulic analyses and prepare stormwater management plans.
QualificationsRequired Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience working on site development projects;
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
  • Expertise in AutoCAD and setup of plan sheets;
  • Proficiency with Civil3D modeling software;
  • PE license;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel);
  • Strong initiative and technical problem-solving expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on LID/green infrastructure and water reuse projects;
  • Experience working on site development projects within the Bay Area;
  • Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (water focus);
  • H&H modeling (e.g., SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS);
  • ArcGIS;
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications.
