We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Services Representative to join our team at Granville Health System. As a key member of our Emergency Room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth registration process.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process incoming patients, including direct admissions and outpatient services
- Complete and distribute necessary forms, obtaining signatures and insurance information as required
- Process information on the hospital's Health Information Management System
- Respond to calls through the switchboard, paging and transferring calls as needed
- Collect co-payments and deductibles at time of service
- Balance receipts and make deposits to the Cashier on a daily basis
- High School graduate with at least one year of experience in patient registration
- Typing and computer skills
- Ability to operate office equipment and knowledge of cashiering
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stay calm in emergencies and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
