About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Americare Therapy Services Inc. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physician-prescribed occupational therapy to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of patients
  • Maintain ongoing communication with physicians, healthcare teams, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patient status
  • Help develop and revise patient care plans as necessary
  • Communicate with Americare Therapy Services regarding issues related to rehabilitation services and patient care
What We Offer

Requirements
  • Two years of experience, preferred
  • Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist
  • Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy education (CAPTE) or successor organizations of CAPTE
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
