Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will:

  • Conduct Diagnostic Radiographic procedures, including CT scans, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, MRI, and other specialized imaging techniques following departmental protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met effectively.
  • Engage in Performance Improvement and Quality Control initiatives.
  • Oversee Radiology staff in the absence of supervisory personnel.
  • Manage inventory and supplies within the department.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and promote excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the evaluation and discipline of staff as needed.
  • Coordinate scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Handle the processing and transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  1. A valid state licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required.
  2. National certification in three imaging modalities or, if in a leadership role, certification in two modalities along with leadership experience.
  3. Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing radiologic practices.
  4. Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire and maintenance of certification.
  5. A minimum of one year of experience in acute clinical radiography is preferred.
  6. Proficient computer skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Prime Healthcare offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our employees. Compensation for this position ranges from $41.69 to $57.71, with final offers determined based on a variety of factors, including experience and qualifications.
