Staff Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Geologist to join our Environmental Department at Universal Engineering Sciences. As a Staff Geologist, you will play a key role in assisting licensed geologists with various environmental projects, including Phase I/II environmental site assessments, comprehensive site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and environmental remediation.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning and execution of environmental projects, including subsurface logging, soil/groundwater sampling, and monitoring well development.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including field notes and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency and client requirements and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Science.
- Excellent technical writing skills and experience with project report writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to pass OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Fundamentals of Geology certification (IG), or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
