Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms related to image processing, signal processing, RADAR, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms related to image processing, signal processing, RADAR, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
- Work closely with the data science team to design and implement models and algorithms that address complex business requirements.
- Apply your expertise in machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build next-generation analytics engines and services.
- Maintain an active understanding of relevant hardware and software market leaders, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all data by maintaining top secret or SCI clearance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and optimize solutions.
- Present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve machine learning models, data collection and processing procedures to adapt to ever-changing defense requirements and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on machine learning, image processing, signal processing, RADAR, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C/C++, and Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow and Keras.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles, theories, concepts, and technologies.
- Must have active Top Secret or SCI clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. citizenship required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
