Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

Central Florida Therapy, a reputable pediatric therapy clinic, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to the growth and development of our team.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at our clinic, you will play a vital role in helping children with communication disorders reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
  • Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and write reports as needed
  • Educate and involve parents/caregivers in therapy goals and strategies
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (clinical internships included)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Preference will be given to those that have a valid Medicaid number in the state of Florida
