Nurse Practitioner

At Bethesda Health, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Assess and monitor residents' condition and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
* Participate in care planning and implement necessary nursing interventions
* Administer medication and treatments safely and timely
* Use critical thinking skills to address residents' changes in condition and notify physicians as necessary
* Maintain composure during crisis situations and actively address problems using the QAPI process
* Keep current with best nursing practices through education and knowledge of company policies
Requirements:
* Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN licensure
* Current LPN license in the state of work
* CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months
* IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months
* Long-term care experience preferred
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
* Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, transfer patients, and perform necessary documentation
* Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color
