This position entails collaboration within a team dedicated to developing highly dependable systems for demanding environments.

Location: Candidates should be prepared to work in designated areas, with options available in various locations. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers throughout all stages of projects.
  • Work alongside teams and clients to establish project objectives and initial specifications, guiding designs from initial concept through to prototype and production.
  • Extract and manage requirements for electromechanical systems.
  • Draft design specifications to clearly convey needs to subsystems and suppliers.
  • Formulate design strategies for the verification and validation of requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges.
  • Analyze test data and designs, providing recommendations for product and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB design and layout, particularly within the aerospace or defense sectors.
  • Proactive and action-oriented with a strong forward-thinking approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed design and layout.
  • Expertise in creating schematics and layouts using electrical CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, Proteus, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-6012 and IPC-2220 Class 3.
  • Understanding of best practices in PCB design for manufacturing and testing, including assembly to IPC Class 3 standards.
  • Experience in defining and managing requirements for electromechanical or robotic systems.
  • Comprehensive development experience from proposal through to production.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on design documentation and report generation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

These positions are full-time and require onsite presence. US citizenship is mandatory.
