Field Operations Leader - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel requirements may vary from 2 to 8 weeks at a time across multiple states.
  • Recruit and retain retail merchandisers through effective training and development.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with merchandising standards.
  • Collaborate with client representatives for in-store training and development sessions.
  • Assign tasks to merchandisers and manage work schedules for direct reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including recaps, audits, itineraries, and expenses.
  • Build strong relationships with members of the Client and Talent Acquisition teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of merchandising experience (preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector).
  • 1 to 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Home office required with the ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and develop team members effectively.
  • Strong capability to build cross-functional relationships with peers and business leaders.
  • Effective presentation skills for communicating with store management and business partners.

Additional Information:

The Field Operations Leader is tasked with supervising Retail Merchandisers and ensuring that all objectives are met by maintaining merchandising standards at retail accounts within a designated territory. This role involves training team members, conducting store audits, and supporting the merchandising process to meet client and customer goals.

Physical Requirements:

Incumbents must be able to perform essential job functions, which may involve physical activity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods. Proper safety practices must be observed when handling products.
