Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care, following the plan of care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
* Conduct individualized patient evaluations, prioritizing data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs.
* Implement an interim plan of care, evaluating and providing patient education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care.
* Complete thorough documentation of patient care, including nursing interventions, patient responses, needs, problems, capabilities, limitations, and progress towards goals.
* Continuously evaluate patient status and report changes to the Registered Nurse.
* Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by the physician, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
* Ensure supplies, medications, and equipment are properly stored.
* Answer call lights within an established timeframe.
Other Duties:
* Administer medications and treatments according to nursing policies and procedures.
* Provide orientation to new employees.
* Attend and participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings as required.
* Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.
* Maintain required licenses, certifications, and mandatory skill updates.
* Comply with all policies, local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
* Float to other units as assigned to meet patient care needs.
* Provide other duties of a healthcare team member.
Supervisory Responsibility:
* May serve as an interim department leader depending on need.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stairs or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods, etc.

Requirements:
* Clear and Active Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in the state of Florida
* CPR certification
