We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.
  • Assist Lead Mechanics as needed and review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Handle tools, equipment, and fine motor skills.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet.
  • Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
