Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of care.
  • Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate patient care and optimize imaging procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of procedures and protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment to complete procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  • Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy.
  • Perform quality control procedures and notify management of any issues or concerns.
  • Assist in the facilitation of departmental operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Windows-style applications and software packages.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

The incumbent will work in a patient care area, exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The job requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including 24/7, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required throughout and between facilities.
