Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Vascular Care Specialist. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing vascular procedures, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing vascular procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, procedure support, and post-procedure recovery.">
  • Assessing patient needs and developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.">
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless coordination of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.">
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.">
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of new policies and procedures.">
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by management.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

">

Education and Experience

">
  • ">
  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.">
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the position is located.">
  • At least 4 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a vascular access or cardiology department.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.">
  • Knowledge of vascular procedures and protocols, including ultrasound-guided cannulation and dialysis access maintenance.">
  • Basic life support certification (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support certification (ACLS) preferred.">
