Key Responsibilities:

The Nursing Services Manager is a Registered Nurse who assumes comprehensive administrative responsibility for overseeing all nursing service functions within the designated departments. This role involves supervising, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care delivery.

Key duties include:

  • Developing and executing departmental plans, including performance improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Supervising and evaluating all personnel assigned to the unit, effectively managing nursing staff and resources.
  • Maintaining direct accountability to the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing.
  • Facilitating effective communication with staff, physicians, and administration through both written and verbal channels.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current status.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience is required.
  • At least three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical or acute care environment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintenance of current status.
