Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to departmental policies and protocols.
  • Screen, prepare, and position patients for CT procedures, taking into account diagnoses and body parts.
  • Evaluate CT studies for quality and completeness, utilizing advanced image manipulations as needed.
  • Administer contrast media as directed by radiologists, maintaining radiation safety for patients, staff, and family members.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all PACS capabilities and maintain accurate documentation on log book worksheets and charging of examinations and supplies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). CT registry preferred.
  • 0-6 months related experience.
Working Relationships

You will work directly with patients and/or customers, as well as other healthcare professionals and staff. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to and answer patients' questions with patience and courtesy.
