Job Overview

STCU is seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to provide exceptional retirement and investment services to our members in the Pasco, Washington and greater Tri-Cities, Washington area.

This role is responsible for assessing the financial goals, needs, and objectives of our members, providing personalized service and investment products, and building long-term relationships based on trust and respect.

As a Financial Advisor, you will have the opportunity to use your sales talents and ability to build rapport with our members, helping them identify their financial needs and goals.

You will be an employee of STCU and a dual employee/agent of CUSO Brokerage Services, Inc. (CFS) and/or Members Trust Company (MTC), holding securities industry licenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, employees, and members by meeting regularly, conducting branch trainings/coaching, and maintaining consistent office hours at designated branches.
  • Identify and evaluate member and employee needs for financial services by assessing objectives and goals, and developing an investment strategy for each individual.
  • Follow through on goals and expectations set forth by the Program Manager by consistently achieving production, sales, and service goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7, 63 required; Series 65 or 66 preferred; state life, accident, health, and insurance licenses required.
  • Minimum of three years licensed registered representative sales experience required or proven ability in a related position at STCU.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
