Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to support construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cranes to lift and move heavy loads, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate lifting operations and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, reporting any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid crane operator license for the State of Connecticut.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in pile driving, steel erection, and bridge construction.
  • Hydraulic and friction crane experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
