Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per yearJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Elderly Care Specialist to join our team at The Reserve at Oswego in Oswego, Illinois. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all aspects of resident care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information
  • Notify the Resident Care Coordinator or Executive Director of any changes in resident condition
  • Assist with meal service, including set up, take orders, serve, and bus tables
  • Participate in activities and events, and escort residents to scheduled appointments
  • Be aware of changes in resident condition and report to the Medication Aide or Resident Care Coordinator immediately
  • Take vital signs and weights accurately
  • Assist with lifting requirements up to 40 pounds
Requirements:
  • High school graduate preferred
  • Proficiency in English required
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population, previous experience preferred but not necessary
  • CPR/First Aid certification
