Ambulatory Care Nurse Leader

As a skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse Leader at Henry Ford Health System, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential, and you will demonstrate clinical competence. This role may require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position. You will work independently and in collaboration with the principal investigator when appropriate.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Licenses and Certifications:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
