Job Description:

  • Work as a Certified Surgical First Assistant in the CVOR.
  • Participate in surgeries involving thoracic robots.
  • Possess transplant skills (preferred).
  • Handle patients ranging from adolescents to
No requirement to float between units.
  • Participate in the call schedule, which may include one day a week and one weekend approximately every four weeks, subject to departmental needs.
  • Ensure full compliance for a timely start, with potential delays resulting in a two week push back due to the bi weekly orientation schedule.
  • Orientation consists of 13 hours.
  • Submit core items and complete or schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on time start.
  • Availability to work during major holidays as per the assignment requirements.
If one major holiday falls during the assignment, it is expected to be worked; if two, both are expected.

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving/Black Friday
  • Unit accepts firsttime travelers.
  • Max RTO of 7 days.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
