Cybersecurity Specialist



We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing security assessments and penetration testing on telematics boxes, including firmware, software, hardware interfaces, and communication protocols.



Responsibilities:





  • Perform security assessments and penetration testing on telematics boxes, including firmware, software, hardware interfaces, and communication protocols.

  • Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities, including those related to wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), CAN bus, GPS, and cellular networks.

  • Conduct vulnerability analysis of embedded systems, including reverse engineering.

  • Simulate and assess potential attack vectors such as spoofing, tampering, information disclosure, and denial of service (DoS).



Requirements:





  • 3+ years of experience in penetration testing, preferably in the automotive or embedded systems industry.

  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, including hardware, firmware, and software components.

  • Technical Skills:



    • Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, Nmap, and CANalyzer.

    • Experience with reverse engineering tools like Ghidra or IDA Pro.

    • Familiarity with automotive-specific protocols and tools (e.g., CAN, LIN, UDS, J1939).

    • Experience with wireless security testing (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3GPP).
