Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Wailuku, Hawaii. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic ultrasonography, with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, utilizing proper transducer frequency and diameter for optimal results.
  • Select ancillary devices to obtain hard copy records of exams, and demonstrate knowledge of the PACS and Radiology Information System.
  • Recognize electronic equipment limitations and extend the scope of studies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, contributing technical and professional knowledge to final diagnostic impressions or reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Hold a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and written communication.
