Job Summary

MD CLINICS is seeking a highly skilled and organized Outpatient Clinical Nurse to join our team. As a dual-role position, this individual will provide both clinical and administrative support in a new clinical provider setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Nursing Duties:
    • Collect and process patient specimens, including blood draws.
    • Record patient vital signs and conduct triage to ensure timely and effective care.
    • Prepare patients for consultations and assist with callbacks, referrals, and prior-authorizations.
    • Monitor quality measures and coordinate with other providers' schedules to ensure seamless care.
    • Manage inventory for injections and medical management.
  • Front Office Reception Duties:
    • Greet and check-in patients, creating a welcoming environment.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the provider's calendar to ensure efficient use of time.
    • Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services, ensuring clear communication.
    • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
    • Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license and relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure seamless data management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, prioritizing patient care and satisfaction.
