Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Premier Health. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients and collect vitals, including pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests
  • Perform general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers
  • Assist in delivering the highest level of patient experience and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HIPAA law and EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with management and physicians to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program and/or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Prior experience in ambulatory healthcare facility preferred
  • Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians
  • Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
  • CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred
