We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Brookville Family Care. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Premier Physician Network.
Key Responsibilities- Room patients and collect vitals, including pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned.
- Perform general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.
- Assist in delivering the highest level of patient experience, ensuring every patient, every time receives exceptional care.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HIPAA law and adhere to all relevant regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and procedures, including ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program and/or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Prior experience in an ambulatory healthcare facility is preferred.
- Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
- Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
- CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment.
- Familiarity with the EPIC EMR system.
