NASCAR Xfinity Series Technical Inspection Director

NASCAR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Inspection Director to join our team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. As a key member of our Event Management team, you will be responsible for providing high-level expertise and oversight in all areas of technical inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic direction for technical inspection processes
  • Provide oversight and guidance on the application of rules and regulations in the garage area and vehicle
  • Manage technical inspection processes, concerns, and issues, and report to the Managing Director
  • Ensure technical inspectors use the NASCAR Mobile Inspection Tablet
  • Handle complex issues in the garage and pit areas
  • Maintain strong relationships with race teams and within the company
  • Co-lead Team Competition Meetings
  • Focus on improving employee engagement and morale among technical inspectors
  • Maintain knowledge of industry products and NASCAR rules
  • Research and implement best practices from other forms of motorsports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of industry-related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company-provided hardware and software
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with extended hours
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Focused follow-through and attention to detail
