Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses
  • Document patient information and medical history
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Active Medical Assisting certification from a recognized organization
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary education program
  • 1 year of recent Medical Assisting experience (preferred)
Work Environment

Our Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to patients in a general office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
