Salary

The estimated weekly pay for this position is approximately $1,800-$2,000, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week.


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PCU/Step-down Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and other critical vital signs monitoring, as well as experience with titrating complex medications.

As a PCU Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and assessing patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough to need ICU care.
  • Utilizing computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect any changes that may indicate the need for intervention.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active RN license.
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS & ACLS certifications.
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
